EasyCast Studio is a browser-based podcast studio with AI transcription, audio cleanup, and built-in Podcast 2.0 RSS hosting. It replaces a stack of separate tools with a single platform.

How does EasyCast compare to Riverside and Descript?

EasyCast adds automatic silence and filler-word removal, AI-generated show notes, and built-in RSS hosting. It records directly in the browser via WebRTC and gives live transcription during the session.

Can I record podcasts remotely with guests?

Yes. Solo and one-on-one guest recording is fully supported. Multi-guest sessions with separate per-participant tracks are in beta.

Is there a free podcast recording option?

Yes. The free plan includes 30 minutes of audio per month with AI transcription. Paid plans start at $29/month.

What does this tool actually output?

A 1080×1080 (Instagram square) PNG snapshot of the current frame of your audiogram preview, with title and show name overlaid on the waveform. The audio plays in the browser so you can scrub to the snapshot you want, then download. No watermark.

Can I export an MP4 of the playing audiogram?

Not in this free version. Browser MP4 encoding is heavy and unreliable across devices, so we kept this tool snapshot-only. The full audiogram studio at /tools/audiogram exports MP4 with frame-perfect timing, captions, animations, and brand kits — that's the upgrade path.

How long can my clip be?

You can pick any audio file up to about 50MB. The preview uses the first 30 seconds — the part that has to do the work in any social-share audiogram.

Do you upload my file?

No. Decoding, waveform extraction, rendering, and snapshot generation all happen in your browser via the Web Audio API and Canvas. The file never touches our servers.

Which audio formats work?

Whatever your browser supports natively — typically MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, and WebM. If your browser refuses a file, re-export to MP3 or WAV and try again.

Will it work on mobile?

Yes, modern Safari (iOS 15+) and Chrome (Android) both support the Web Audio API and Canvas APIs needed. Tap the file picker, choose your clip, and tap Play. The PNG download saves to your camera roll.

The whole pipeline runs in your browser via the Web Audio API. The file you pick is decoded and rendered locally. We don't upload it. We don't store it. There's no server in the loop.

Designed for the share, not for the editor
