How it works

Step 1

Paste your current description

Drop in whatever you have on your RSS feed, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify. Up to 4000 characters.

Step 2

Pick a tone and primary goal

Discoverability, brand voice, subscribe CTA, or concise. The model rebalances the rewrite around the goal you choose.

Step 3

Get 3 variants — Standard, Concise, Rich

Each variant has a clear purpose: a default ship-it length, a tight one-paragraph version, and a richer description for your show page.

What makes a podcast description work

A description is the second-most-clicked surface for your show (after the title). These notes are how the rewriter is tuned — so you can pick by feel, not just by vibe.

The first 1–2 sentences are everything

Apple Podcasts and Spotify show ~2 lines in search. If they don’t name what your show is about and who it is for in those lines, the rest of the description is wallpaper.

Specific topic clusters > vague pitch

List 2–4 recurring topics or formats explicitly. It helps directory search match queries and helps listeners decide whether they’re in the right room.

Stay under 4000 characters

Apple Podcasts truncates above 4000. Most directories show far less. Aim for 180–300 words on the standard variant; pad the "Rich" version for your owned show page.

Drop the clichés

“Join us as we…”, “tune in for…”, and “from industry leaders to…” are signal-free filler. Replace them with one specific, ownable promise.

Frequently asked

What does each variant do?
Standard is the workhorse — the right length and tone for most directories. Concise is a 80–120 word version for tight surfaces (link-in-bio, ad copy, sponsorship one-pagers). Rich is a longer, more textured version for your owned show page where space isn’t precious.
Will it stay under Apple Podcasts’ length limit?
Yes. Every variant is constrained to under 4000 characters. The tool returns the actual character count next to each one so you can pick confidently.
Is this really free?
Yes. 5 rewrites per day per device, no signup required. If you need more, an EasyCast Studio account gives you unlimited rewrites alongside live transcription, AI show notes, viral clip suggestions, and built-in Podcast 2.0 RSS hosting.
Will my description be saved or used to train anything?
No. We rate-limit by IP for fairness, but we don’t store the description, the audience, or the rewrites we send back. We log only the count of calls per IP per 24 hours.
Why three variants instead of one?
Because the right description depends on where it’s pointed. The standard ships to your directories, the concise version is for cross-promo and ads, the rich version is for your owned site or press kit. One length does not fit all surfaces.

Description done. Now ship the show.
